Finalists for Creative Conservation Architect of the Year

The BD Architect of the Year Awards (AYAs) are Building Design magazine's annual UK architecture awards. Uniquely, they reward a practice's overall body of work rather than just a single building.  

We are proud to be finalists for the Creative Conservation Architect of the Year category, in recognition of our work in the adaptive reuse of heritage assets. We work with local authorities, charities and institutional clients to introduce contemporary uses into obsolete existing buildings, giving them a sustainable future in which they continue to serve their communities.

Our fellow finalists are: Burrell Foley Fischer, Clews Architects Ltd, David Kohn Architects, dMFK, Donald Insall Associates, Group Ginger, iKAD Architects Ltd, Sheppard Robson, and Simpson & Brown.

The 2026 AYAs culminate in a major awards ceremony taking place on 7 October 2026.
