Group Ginger are Architects Declare signatories and take our responsibilities seriously. The most sustainable building is the one that already exists. Re-use of existing buildings has always been part of our practice. We prioritise retention and adaptation over demolition and new build. New spaces are designed to be as efficient as possible utilising natural materials. We use resources (time, money, space, materials) responsibly with a focus on whole life value.

Because we are optimists; we are always ambitious with project briefs, spotting opportunities to add uses, develop synergies and create new revenue streams. We think outside of the brief to explore what additional value a project can bring. Doing more with less supports the long-term sustainability of buildings, places and communities.
