Group Ginger have recently been appointed to develop the detail design and preparation of listed building consent and detailed planning for the beautiful Grade II* listed former church building. The proposals improve the buildings flexibility, capacity and the facilities on offer to enable the Community Interest Company to enhance their offer and secure a sustainable and resilient business model. Our work will reinforce the organisation’s ability to connect people to each other, to arts and culture, and to new experiences and opportunities promoting creativity and well-being. The building is in good condition but doesn’t function well – Group Gingers work provides sensitive adaptation to the listed structure to enable flexibility, better operation, multiple events and improved accessibility, allowing multiple groups to inhabit and enjoy the space.
